VISION
English version
Its a matter close to my heart to ensure that my patterns merge with the form of the jar, transforming, becoming a unified whole of its own. A life imbued with a sense of infinity.
All my works are made out of stoneware. Glazed in extremly matt glazes and painted using black oxides.
I finally fire my works in my lovely gas kiln, heated to 1300 degrees thanks to the transformative powers of North Sea gas.
After days of cooling down i gently open the kiln and with trembling heart i gaze into the still hot space to see whether some of my dreams and visions have come to fruition.
